More likely a Feral Boar, but I loved the squirrel idea. The Boars in southern Texas will take out the undercarriage on a car really bad.

I ran over a Deer one time with my Blazer, Not a dent remained you shoulda seen the looks of those folks at work when I pulled up with blood all over the front of that thing.

Hit one in a dodge on the way home from hunting, my dad jumped out and cut its throat.
Should have seen the game wardens looking for the hole, they just couldn't believe what they saw and what we said.
