OK Guys, Try to keep the laughing down, I got a Robotic Swimming Lure for Christmas. You charge it up and it swims for about an hour and a half. Any comments or suggestions?Curiosity is killing me. I got to try it. Anyone heard any tips on using one. I bet I’m the only clown in this group that has something like that.

I hear that they can be effective, because they can mimic swim prey fish better than a dude(or dudette) with a rod.

Welcome to the Forum, Davey. Someone must have given your Christmas gift a heavy thought. I will not take that bet. Keep us posted on the outcome, please. You say you are from Kansas, interesting.

I wonder if they are legal to use and if so only certain places. Too bad they have such huge hooks on them. One of the videos shows a school of fish that didn’t look interested at all. Like all outdoor equipment for fishing and hunting as well as other sports. They don’t necessarily have to work real well they just have to bait the buyer to bite. Big industry. If I had all the cash spent on gear that seemed like just the thing but never got a bite I would have some serious bank to invest in something else.

I guess I need to pay attention. We will see what it does when I go to Stockton this Spring and Texoma a little later. I’m going to try it out on one of these local park lakes. Looks to me they get results. Old Salt I’ll take a video of it in a city park lake later when it warms up. Randyhartford we introduced our selves earlier this winter. Remember I married the Harding Girl from Turner. How bout them Chiefs’ although I admit they had a lot of things happen In their favor to get there. Get on You Tube and look for “Kansas Angling Experience”. Watch him catch Wipers at Clinton and fish at that nuke plant south of here. I fell in that lake about 15 years ago in the winter time and it felt like a warm bath.

Sorry Davey. I didn’t recognize your name but DO remember. I have some friends that have caught a lot of those wipers out at Clinton. I haven’t fished Clinton in years but used to regularly from the time it was built. Even caught some northern pike out there in the early days when they first stocked them. They didn’t last ‘cause the water was too warm. Caught them on minnows while crappie fishing up where the Wakarusa River dumps into the lake. Good to hear from you!

Ivey, I’m sure PT Barnum was talking about me.
