Went ice fishing yesterday at Lake John just outside of Walden Colorado and I caught some nice cutbows But we noticed that there were thousands of these little minors in the water and I am curios as to what kind of fish it is? any Ideas?

Can't help you Elk61, but great pic quality you got there. Palm reader might answer your question. LOL

Thanks plumber
Not after a reading of the palm, I think I would be scared to know the answer.

Welcome to the Forum, Elknut. Did you catch anything on them?

I was not fishing with them, there were so many of them that the cast masters would snag them.

Elk, go to quote reply after you have your pic ready and hit the browse button to find it, then add attachment button.

Nice job on the pic entry and even nicer of a catch you are showing. Is that Walden area where you live there in Colorado?

There you go! Nice. Looks like a great day on the ice. You can have it. That little fish in your hand looks like it could be a stickleback, but I'm not sure. Don't know if they live in Colorado. From what I do know of sticklebacks, that one is a monster - they don't get very big. More suitable for an aquarium than a lake.
