Me and my family go up to a place in Missouri that is a stocked trout stream. I don’t know how to use a fly rod so I have to use a spinning rod. Do y’all have any good baits or techniques I could use. Also not allowed to use power bait

You could try casting some spoons or spinners. Or maybe drifting some worms

Spinners are winners but I also like to use grass hoppers or any large bug I can find laying around.

You could use a bobber that looks like a water bubble that allows you fish a fly with a spinning rod.

1/8 or ounce jig head black. About half a 4" senko worm in watermelon (green with red flake). Jig it across the bottom slowly, let it sit and twitch it lightly.

Worms, rooster tail, spinners, power bait, maggots ,and minnows. I've tried them all and it just depends on what the fish want to hit on.

I like a #5 gold/black and silver/black floating Rapala. My go to for stream trout fishing. Second pick are Panther Martin spinners. Cast across the hole you want to go through, let the current take it, then reel through the target area.

Caseman, where are you headed in Missouri? We have 8 members here that might be able to help you.
All good advice up above. Nobody mentioned the deadly Kastmaster. They come in various sizes and colors and they are easy to cast and they'll catch anything that lives in there. One of my go-tos when stream fishing.
