Looking for a new paddle. I don’t want just a generic cheap one. I really like my upgraded paddle board paddle from NRS for example. Wondering if there are any other good brands or recommended paddles from you other fisherman. Or am I just overthinking it? Thanks in advance!

You're not overthinking it. A high quality paddle light paddle makes a world of difference. Werner and bending branches are two companies that make high quality paddles to look in to. I've got a werner camano that's amazing and I've heard good things about the skagit as well.

Yeah, they say every 1 mile paddled is about 2000 strokes. I think that's what was said anyway. Either way, the difference between a cheaper 5 lbs paddle and a Bending Branches 2.5 lbs becomes very clear after a day.

Aqua bound Sting Ray Hybrid, carbon shaft with fiber glass reinforced nylon blades. The shape is a blend of high and low stroke designs, and the paddle is light and strong. You can catch them on deals through SteepandCheap or TheClymb.

I loved my Bending Branches. Awesome paddle. Light weight and slices through the water.
