Any suggestions for a good spinning combo to use for Redfish and Snook? I would like to keep the costs under $300. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know anything about snook but having seen a few picture I'd say a Penn Spinfisher and a 6' 6 or 7' medium heavy St. Croix Mojo salt. that would put you a little over 300, but that would be a righteous set-up.

Thanks for the input Spirit of27. I was actually looking at the St Crux Mojo Salt 7’ rod earlier today.

Wait a little and see what BassPro has on their sale around the first of March.

Penn Fierce III, 5-6000 series rod and reel combo in 7 - 7.6 ft in med heavy!! Perfect combo. It's what I use in Pensacola Bay.

Pound for pound a big Snook will tear up more tackle than any fish so go quality.

I’m leaning towards the 7' medium heavy St. Croix Mojo Salt paired with the Penn Spinfisher VI Live Liner Spinning Reel with 20 or 25 pound braid.
