Hey BM, don't fish those lakes, but our lake I'm catchin them bout 50 feet deep on a drop shot right now. That's gonna change real soon though if the weather keeps bein this warm. Which lakes do you like to fish, and how you been doin?
And what you fishing for over there in Waterford? As I've said on previous posts, the next fish I catch will be my first one this year, that's how I've been doing

I don’t live there anymore but you’re right below Lake Don Pedro. One of the best fishing lakes around your area ( there are several). Kings, kokanee, rainbows, bass, pan fish and cats. Kinda makes me want to move back to California.
although the days have been unseasonably warm,, the nights are still cold and besides a new weather front is due in tomorrow. We have not fished out there in the Motherlode area yet this year. BUT if we were to go I'd fish Comanche and just walk the shoreline while casting plastics (my wife will only fly fish). Or whathaveyou. Late March to late May seem to work best for me.
