This is from a comedian's
routine (don't remember his
name) from a video I saw some time ago;
My girlfriend and I needed a
little vacation for stress relief,
so I took her to San Francisco
for a long week-end ! After a
little 'touristing', we stopped at
a street vendor for a snack, but
when I reached for my wallet, I dropped it on the sidewalk !
This is Frisco; I am NOT bending over on a public street to pick it
up ! Told my girl that I'd be back
in a little while, then proceeded
to kick it along the sidewalk towards our hotel ! Get to the
hotel, open the door and kick it into the lobby, then towards the
elevators ! Standing there over
my wallet, the elevator door
opens and I kick it inside; I'm
now alone in the elevator, so
do I pick it up ? NO WAY ! This
is still Frisco, and I'm taking no chances ! Get to my floor, the
door opens, and I proceed to
kick it down the hallway
towards my room; get to my
room, unlock and open the
door, and kick the wallet into
the middle of the room ! Turn around, close and lock the door, then turn back around to pick
it up, figuring I'm safe in my
room with the door locked !
As I finally bend over to pick
up my wallet, I damn near had
a heart attack; I backed into the
freakin' door knob !
