Anyone have report on Pyramid Lake?
Fishonoff please add you location to your profile. I don't know how many Pyramid Lakes there are in the world, but probably more than one, and it would be nice to know which one you're talking about. You talking down by L.A.? We've got folk on here from that area, and if that's where you're at we can put you in contact with them. Tight lines.
The one I know of is down by L.A. in the vicinity of Castaic. Legendary bass lakes. Monsters.

Whew! Thought I was losin it. so fwishonoff is talking about the one outside Reno? Well as I recall that lake is below Carson City down toward Bridgeport and is half in Nevada and half in California. I've never fished down there, but I hear there are some nice trout in it. Cutthroats? Don't know about bass.

No Spirit, that's lake Topaz. Pyramid lake is north of Reno and on an Indian Res. That is where they have the Lohontan cutthroat trout. They get really big.

Lahontan cutthroat trout. Google it.
OK. I know nothing about it. Do you have to get your license on the reservation to fish it, or is a Nevada license sufficient? Not sure how that works.
