Is that you that caught that 14 pounder over on Comanche? Where do you fish? I usually get up to Stumpy at least a couple of times a year. It's on the way to Gerle Creek. Love that little lake for browns, but they can be tough to catch.

Ain't me. I do fish Comanche ,Stumpy , Folsom and Steamboat when I can. Son moved to Wild Wood. Might be my new hangout.?

Isn't that a private lake, Wild Wood? I think maybe I visited there once a long time ago. I was up in your little community today - quite a conincidence since a week ago I'd never even heard of Garden Valley. My daughter is up there and I was visiting her. I actually got to fish for about an hour - there's a little pond on the property there. No fish. Well, I didn't catch any. Stumpy is a nice quiet little lake, loaded with trout. Before they paved Wentworth Springs road above the lake I used to park along side the logging road there and hike down to where Pilot Creek comes into it. Rainbow heaven.

Yup WW is private . Stumpy has never been great to me. Caught more catfish than trout.
