The weather was brutal, cloudy, 20 mph wind out of Southwest and temps of 35 to 40 degrees. But the fish bite was good! The trout cooperated and ended day with 5 for the limit on this lake! Using moldable Gulp Sparkle fish bait and small salmon egg hook. With a ugly stick 8 ft Crappie pole and Shakespeare ultrlite open face reel! The trout really gave that 8 ft pole a fantastic fight. If you have trout stock near you by state as we do in Kentucky rivers, creeks and lakes give them a late winter try! You won’t be disappointed!!😊

I went yesterday on a local lake, bright sunny day, no wind, temp in the low 70s, and I caught squat. But you're right, I wasn't disappointed. Had a great day on the water and fish would have just been a bonus. So now we know you're from Kentucky, but that's a pretty big state, will you please go into your profile and update your location? And some pictures would be nice, we all like that.
