Hello to All
I am Tom Little from Chico CA
I am retired from CSU Chico where I taught and was involved with athletics from 1968-2005
I have fished a little bit of everything over the years. I grew up in Texas fishing for crappie. When I moved to California, I had a chance to do many types of fishing. During this time, I have fished in Bass Tournaments in Northern CAS Big Game Tournaments in Maui and Kona ad tarpon in Florida. Presently I have my own boat and fish Trout and Kokanee, November to March, Stripers March to April, Shad in May-June, Salmon from July to November, with occasional trout trip in between.

My boat is a 205 Jetcraft Jet with a Yamaha kicker motor, Helix 8 on console with a hummingbird in back, with an min kota ulterra in the bow.
I mostly never take a trip, unless some fishing trip is involved along the way
I would like say jay I am a Jack of all trades, but not an expert in anything, as I am always trying to learn new things.
I am allways looking for new friends to fish with and to learn more about this fascinating sort.

Welcome aboard Tom from Chico. Did you know Aaron Rogers? Didn't he go to school up there? You're the first person on here that's mentioned shad. Coming soon to a river near you.

Welcome, Tom. Do you know what kind of bass those two CA boys catch on TacticalBassin. The bass seem to grow quite large.

Hope you enjoy the stage.

Welcome, Tom. Do you know what kind of bass those two CA boys catch on TacticalBassin. The bass seem to grow quite large. From the experiences that you have had, I would bet you caught a lot of the aforementioned bass.

I am a Texan stuck in OK for 40 years. Actually, I am glad that I am here as Texas has gotten quite liberal.

Hope you enjoy the stage.

The fish the guys on TB catch are LM bass. Their home lake is Clear Lake CA. Bout 1 1/2 hrs. away from me. Have fished it numerous times. That is listed as #3 bass lake in the US I believe. Right there with Lake Fork Tx.

Thanks. I have never seen LM bass that color or colorless. As you know from your youth, there is some black in the bass.

During the winter I don't know if it is lack of sunshine, cold water or the depth the fish are(lack of sunshine) or what it is but they are very light colored. Kinda whiteish in color. As spring and summer get here they get their usual color back.
