Went down to the ramp, it wasn't there, under water, looks like it'll be a while before I use that dock.

Gotta have a boat to get to it.

Is that the same place you fished recently?

This is the ramp at Tim's Ford Dam. The lake is 5 foot over flood stage and TVA has the flood gates open pushing as much water down the Elk as the Tennessee River will allow. At least it's not raining right now but strong storms expected tonight.

I'll be able to launch and probably will tomorrow, I'll just have to pay close attention to the whole trees floating in the lake.

We had that same scenario last year, all summer, & now the same thing again. Know just how you feel. I saw the news today about the flooding in Alabama & Mississippi & the lakes in Tennessee. Really bad. My son is moving to Alabama this summer, someplace about an hour from the coast. Hope it's high ground.
