Hey WH, I used to live in Cisco about 28 years and my sister lives in Abilene. I go back every now and then to look around. I have been to Lake Fort Phantom and used to fish a lot at Lake Cisco and old Lake Bernie. I like to go eat fish at Buffalo Gap, Texas. Keep up keeping them up and catch a bunch of them fish, ya hear!
I have a friend who Captain's out of Port Isabel. Planning a trip with him in April.
All of my striper come out of Phantom! Nice to hear from a West Texas fisherman.
I look forward to everybody's posts especially pictures.
Clyde is almost right in the middle of the state and 140 miles west of Ft.Worth.

Welcome WH from the Volunteer state. Good info here and some laughs. Also prayers, I learned, if you ever need them.
The only time I get to trout fish is when they stock the local small lakes with 1500 rainbow In the winter only. The water gets too warm and those that are not fished out die. The daily limit is five trout.
