This would be accurate at the Gulf Shores Pier. I think it would be true for most of the North Gulf Coast Area also. I would imagine the times would be sooner on the So. Fl. & So. TX area and later on the East & West coast. Do you guys have any similar charts of your area that you can share? Fishing Stage, we care and we share.

Where is that pier exactly? Near Galveston? What city? I’m not familiar with Texas only been there twice. Once to sleep before boarding a Cruise. Once to sleep after disembarking from the ship.

The pier is in Gulf Shores, AL. The pier is very nice, one of the longest on the Gulf but there a zillion places to fish in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area and the chart will pertain to any area around there. That is the pier that I caught the big octopus on.

flyguy, I would be interested if you would have sent the spreadsheet and I would modify it for my area of Oklahoma. Thanks. (I would rather modified someone’s intelligence and feed the data from the fishing reports)

Thank you so much! I think that I will try converting it to a spreadsheet and then make my mods. I guess that you meant to send me am.docx file twice. At first glance they look identifical.

Flyguy - This appears to have no data sources. By that, I was expecting each shaded cell to be dependent on numbers somewhere. I guess someone thought the data was going to remain constant over the years and shaded the cells by examining external data from somewhere only once. (rather than being dynamic, i.e. cell shade was dependent on value of data that could change, like from a fishing report)

That's pretty nice looking and organized. Did you do this yourself? If so, I copied allot of these off the web. I can send it to you if want to add them. The format is not nearly as good as yours.

Your chart failed to mention your lucky to catch most of those in one piece. Sharks are everywhere and often you pull up half a fish. one the other hand, they are fun to catch also.

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,, we caught crocker, specks, black drums, reds, string rays, and even a king mackerel BUT they were all too short. We didn't bring anything home. The fun thing about fishing in the Gulf, you never know what you are going to catch when you get a fish on. Some times your not sure even after you get it in the boat. We're going to try it again tomorrow, the forecast isn't really favorable.
