Where its at if u dont own a boat.
Jamica 125 out of Bogans Badinin Brielle for 165.00 will put you on the fish. Shame ot wasnt seabass season cause the 3 6plus pounders would yasted nice. Dont worry the jumbo porgies and ling as well as. Pollack and cod substituted nicely

When you guys say party boats ... is that a new thing? I heard of charters or whatever. What’s definition of Party Boat? They fish? They dance like it’s spring break? They drink like they are Jimmy Buffet?

The idea of going fishing with 50 people I don't know, and paying the equivalent of hiring a guide with a drift boat and gear provided, just sounds horrible, to me, sorry. I have often driven on past a spot on the river I had planned to fish, because there were more than 3 vehicles, already there.... just spoiled, I guess.
Our "Charter Trips" off the coast of Oregon rarely have more than 10 customers at a time (usually more likely 6)....and I have little choice, if I want tuna or a cooler full of rockfish. More power to you, if you find the 'party boat' an attractive fishing option... I won't be able to join you... ever ! But then.... I avoid anyplace, at all, where large amounts of people are.... cities over 50k, public transportation, Disneyland, etc. I am a Deadhead, who no longer goes to a concert, where there are gonna be more than a couple of thousand people ! Don't hate people, just love "my space" !

Hey Kvothe, was thinking about doing that wreck trip buts it’s a long day out right? I just went on the Ocean Explorer for tog and didn’t do so hot. The whole boat really didn’t do that well. Toggin sure isn’t what it used to be off the coast of NJ.

Different regions different semantics. Public fishing boat, partyboat, charters
The difference is party boats like the jamica 125 out of Brogans Basin in Brielle nj carries about 50 souls there are bunks it goes out at 1am in the morning and hits 3 different wrecks and we fish till 3pm then head back . Whereas a charter, is usally 2 to 6 souls much more expensive but almost always productive .
This trip was so so, but im headed back when seabass season opens, got 2 7 pounders but hadda throw them back.
