Have been lurking and reading/enjoying the posts to "Fishing Digest"...decided to join so I could comment on posts, and maybe add some worthwhile information from time to time. Seems like a friendly, knowledgeable group of folks here....polite too. Looking forward to a long association.

Welcome MFT74... Do you ever fish at Clark Canyon Reservoir? Uncle has a place there. It borders Ted Turners Buffalo Ranch land. I have fished there and caught pretty good size trout.

Welcome M74. I show 3 others out that way. Can you narrow your area down a little better on the profile. That N W is a big territory.

Sure thing -- about 20 miles WNW of Missoula...the Clark Fork, Rock Creek, Bitterroot, Blackfork streams/rivers, and Flathead Lake and it's associated rivers are all within an hours drive, or less. That is, once I get down off the mountain.

Howdy Jeremy - I have fished Clark Canyon Reservoir a few times...it's a big body of water, but can get kind of crowded during the height of the season. Harbors some huge Rainbows though. Mostly I fish the rivers and freestone streams closer to me. Tight lines to ya!

2 of the other 3 users from MT show a location as being Helena if that helps you any. The 3rd doesn't list the location.
