Welcome Trashfish. Plenty of boat dealers in Florida. I have a 23 Pro Line and 17 Sea Fox. Its all about which you will use more. Dont be in a hurry. You might not be happy with what you get. Good luck
From Jensen Beach: To fish offshore you wouldn't want to go less then 23 feet, preferably 25 or more. two engines are better than one. You wouldn't have to go far out to flatline for King Mackerel, but the Sails, Wahoo, and Dolphin are more often found in deeper water. You may want to consider keeping your boat near the Jupiter inlet which is not that far from Hobe Sound because the Gulf Stream is usually only about 3 miles offshore. Hobe Sound is right between the Saint Lucie inlet and the Jupiter inlet. I had a 25 foot John Allman here in Jensen beach about 20 years ago but now I mostly use a 6 pack that go's out of Jupiter only I'm limited to flatlining and bottom fishing. I may be able to answer any questions.
