I have been using this loop knot for the last 2 months with good success. Do you all have another type that you prefer?
The Kreh loop knot helps in snaggy spots. The tag end lays down and does not catch any loose grass.
Thanks greenfrog I checked it out, looks easy enough.

Saw that, major advantage there.
I favor the improved clinch knot. I think whatever knot you are good at and comfortable with is the right knot for you

How do you tie a non slip loop using the improved clinch knot? Improved clinch is a favorite of mine.
I use a Kreh or Rapala knot when tying on a lure other than jigs. For jigs I use the three turn surgeon's loop.
I just make a Loop and then put it inside itself, do it a second time and it never slips. Harder to describe than to do it. Can even do it in the dark.
I started using the Palomar. Easy and strong.
Look up a Surgeon's loop. I prefer the Perfection Loop, but the Surgeon's loop is quick and easy to tie.

I like using the Palomar knot because I have arthritis in my hands and itβs easier for me to tie. I use it on my Crappie jigs also.

Hack they say a loop know gives more action to the artificial stuff. If you can find one that is easy for you it may be worth a try. I 've been looping since the 1st of the year and much improved on catching.

Hack there are numerous loop knots, but if tying them is an issue like you say just try a few out until you find one you are comfortable tying.
