I believe in the Pa side of Erie walleye can be caught at night at the mouths of streams flowing in. The walleye move in at night to feed on baitfish and fingerling steelhead. I don’t know about perch other than the deeper channels like Presque Isle . I believe a lot of people fish off of the wall going into the bay. Best advice is to ask at the local bait shops.

I'm in the cleveland area of lake erie and I've fished a few areas of the lake from shore and dont seem to have any luck when others have some luck. Local shop tells me where there catching but no luck for me. My dad used to catch walleye all the time in same areas but I can

I use to live in the downriver area of Detroit and Lake Erie was only about 15 minutes away. The best area, my opinion, is off Michigan I-75 mile marker 11 going to Brest Bay. You will see the twin smoke stacks of the Detroit Edison plant and the two towers of the monroe Fermi plant-the dolly Parton basin. rest area. Chartreuse jighwads ( 1/4 oz. ) or anything chartreuse lie spinner blades in a harness or deep divers. Good luck!

Huron river area seems to b ticket rigt now .. Walleye r getting ready to spawn in another month & they 're staging up in that area . Lot of fish caught in that area this week in boats .. Lake is not frose...
