Day of fishing.

Well it was a day of what you all call fishing. I fished two lakes, real ones.not ponds. I fished luces by you on Lake Houston for 4 hours. Couple of bites that was all. Then we packed up the boat and headed for Sheldon Reservoir. And it was covered in hydrilla! Even water that was six foot deep had hydrilla growing to the surface. Fish for 2 hours not a bite. Then we packed it out because it was not really easy to fish. Tomorrow I go to jollisant Farms with my wife. I sure hope we catch them there. We should because it's private stocked bass pond. I'll post pictures for you all.
Still, sounds a like a good day on the water. Beats mowing the lawn.
Your poor day of fishing beat my day of pruning fruit trees. Good luck on the private fishing hole.

Nice to be on the water anyway.
Would love to go to Dale Hollow to fish. They used to have boats you could rent & stay on the lake. Like a houseboat. That would be heaven for me.
Yes one of best vacations I ever had we rented house boat on center hill fished, skied, kids had great time. Trying to plan one for Dale Hollow Lake this summer. Hard to get everyone on board at same timeline
