That's always the old standby bait for any fish. If just fishin for cats mostly, cut bait, blood bait and stink bait work sometimes also.

You'll be surprised. No need to use a whole slice. Take a half slice and gob it up on the hook. The only problem I've had is getting it back off of the hook when done fishing but that's what a knife is for. Good luck and tight lines back at you. Mike
