Okay while on the subject is your weapon loaded in the house?

While I was on the road awhile back wifey hears a noise in the garage and goes to the hiding place to get the 38. It's tucked in the holster with a strap over it so it can not be pulled. I come home to a nice hole through the wall and into the next about belt high. Supposedly the gun just went off is what I was told.

Chewed me out for having a loaded gun. Yea Wh**ever!!!!!

Hold on Mr. Bad guy while I find my bullet and while my hands shaking give me another 5min to load it, please.

Plumbob, to me an unloaded gun is worthless unless you're going to throw it at someone. While I know there are people with kids don't need to have a loaded gun around, mine will always be loaded with a round in the chamber. Funny while I grew up there were always guns, mostly shotguns and rifles, on the rack where I could have easily got to them but we kids knew better and never touched them unless we were hunting with the grownups. My boy grew up the same way but I taught him young how to handle a pistol and rifle. Now days you gotta have a safe to keep them locked up and hidden away. Might as well not own one.

My favorite sound and a bad guys worst is the sound of my 12 gauge pump shotgun.
I had someone break into my truck while I was camping.
I was in my tent and thank god I put my gun in the tent with me.
When I knew for sure it was a person breaking into my truck ( not a deer or bear) I just waited till it was a bit quiet then I with as much force as possible racked my 12 gauge pump shotgun and waited.

The next sounds I heard were a lot of scrambling and an OH S***! Then running footsteps away from my campsite.

I checked out my truck and then went back to sleep.

I hope this never happens to me. I have a CC and I use it. An unloaded gun is no better than a hammer. I don't own a gun that is unloaded. Always just a step away.

I always carry a gun,too many bad people are out there to do good people harm and if good people carry guns it makes the crooks think before they act ,and most times calling the law will be too late to help you ,so support our gun rights ,get your CC and support the NRA and v**e out the people that are trying to take our gun rights ,mostly Democrats ,so v**e them out !

I'm gonna get sent to the attic, but I'm a batsh*t crazy tree hugging California hippy. I support guns, own several, fire them frequently. MAGA? When has America not been great?
