Two rabbits were being chased by some beagle dogs. The rabbits were way ahead of the dogs and when they reached the top of a hill one said to the other " let's relax here for a while; by the time the dogs get here we'll out number them". the other rabbit said " it won't work, darn it!!! Remember??? We're brothers!!!

I saw on fb this morning where a bull was trying to breed motorcycle, That didn't work either, the motorcycle kept sliding out from under him.
Red Skelton used to raise rabbits. He said he taught them to act in a rabbit circus. His main teaching tool was a stick. He never hit the rabbits, but he would instead just shake it at them and they knew what that meant. He had two rabbits that would not cooperate and he punished them He locked them in a shed with adequate food and water and left them in there to contemplate their bad behavior. After a month, he opened the door to see if they would accept training. Alas, he had waited too long and now had more rabbits than he could shake a stick at.
I knew it was coming and I still read the whole joke and smiled.
Skelton had a career in movies and TV and never said a dirty word on air...and was a funny man.
I remember watching his show as a kid. Not only funny but I recall his sign off at the end about making people smile. Seemed like a really genuine guy.
Skelton once said: "Love your enemies. After all, you made them."
I think his last line was "May God Bless." What a neat guy. He also did the funniest clown routines. Wow. I' m really dating myself.

My favorite skit by Red Skelton was "half man and half woman."
He could make you laugh till you cried.
I long for the former days. :)

Gertrude and Heathcliff.... LMAO at Red's humor.....
what ? that was fifty-how-many-years-ago ? Naaah, that can't be !
We have an art gallery here in the valley that carries some of his clown paintings.... very well done (kinda spendy these days.... nice boat spendy !) and everyone is unique. Good man, miss his take on life.
Gert and Heath are flying over L.A. and see the Democratic Convention going on below..... Gertrude says to Heathcliff..."I haven't seen any Republicans yet, have you ?? Heathcliff replies..."yeah, I just 'spotted' one !
Gertrude and Heathcliff were flying over DC. He says: "Let's have one on the house."
