Welcome Dave. Glad you threw your hat in the ring. Some good guys here. Let us know where you hang your hat & what you fish for. Good luck.
Hi guy’s.....first off I want to thank all of you for the warm welcome. They tell me I’m considered a senior citizen. (I been known to have a few of those moments) I use to fish quite a bit as a kid and up into my 20’s after starting my own family. But life took its twist and turns and I didn’t fish much after that. I retired seven years ago and vowed I would pick it up again. Now it’s an addiction. I go to fishing anonymous on a regular basis. I’m on my second boat. I live about 25 miles west of Tacoma, Washington but I do all of my fishing abut 130 miles south in Woodland, Washington. (I keep my boat and 5th wheel there. Just like being at home)My sister and brother-in-law live right on one of the best salmon and steelhead rivers in the Pacific Northwest. 100 yard walk to the boat. But with all the politics and emergency regulations and open and closing the season 2 or 3 times a year with a 12hr notice. So I don’t fish them much anymore. Now I fish Kokanee and love it. 10 is the limit and I do that quite often. Washington has a pike minnow program where they pay you to fish..imagine getting paid to do what we love to do.....fish🐟. I’m checking into it. Ok now you know more about me than I do 😝....ok I’m gunna hit the hay. Big day tomorrow The Washington Sportsman Show I’ll be spending lot’s of money and hope to learn some new strategies. (Tricks) ok this is getting way to long talk at ya’ll soon.....
