I need to start keeping a fishing log but do not want to reinvent the log. Although I would like to use a database for easy searching, I will probably settle for an Excel spreadsheet template. I used a search on the stage for a template, but did not really get quality results. My plan would be to store these on my Google drive so that I can input data from my notebook, iPad, or phone then retrieve it on my phone when I am on a fishing hole. If the search function was any good, it did not see anyone else heading that direction. I guess that I will start a new topic restricting answers to spreadsheet template and hope for good results. Do you have another suggestion to get me started? I do not want to be restricted to someone’s program as this data will be personally used by me.

I should click on it and learn about it. The closest thing I have used is a bamboo cane rod. I haven’t used the fishing log yet. Aren’t they heavy? I guess I should click on the link.

I was able to open it. I was looking for more of an excel file that can be sorted and filtered. I may put one together, and I'll post it up when I get it to a point I feel good with it.
