Best day of freshwater fishing I ever had! No fish story, caught another 15 that aren't pictured. Finished in a private Lake. Had to pay the landowner $30 for 2 hours and $10 an hour after that spent 50 dollars. Best $50 I ever spent on fishing! Can't wait to go back next weekend.

Oh! Did I ever! There is a bunch of 7 to 12 pounders in this Lake. I'm going to catch one next weekend anything over 7 I can keep. But I bought a tagger and I'm just going to tag them and release. I've been catching so many in my work pond and other ponds and lakes, I am going to tag them and put them in a logbook. Anybody have any ideas on that.?

Some nice fish! But I've got to be honest. Having to pay the landowner $50 just doesn't sit well with me. Not trying to take away from your great day of fishing. Just not my thing I guess.

My first impression was likewise, then I thought, he!!, I have paid more than that to catch a fish. In fact, I have paid more than that and not caught a fish. That didn't sit well with me either. So O.K., good to go.

Wow! I'm going to get my map out and find Plantersville! Last spring my son and I spend 3 days tarpon fishing in the Florida Keys and didn't get one fish to strike. They were there and we could see them in the clear smooth water, they were just not biting. We had every kind of bait, live mullet, crabs, shrimp. Caught one small sand shark. So what is $50 compared to what I spent on that trip is small potatoes! That is why it is called fishing. RJS

So you don't spend $50 fishing? How do you do that? Just fish in rivers and neighborhood ponds? And do you catch fish like this? I figured it out not including gas. I paid about $2.50 for each fish I caught. And we'll get two dinners for four people out of the catfish not included.

Too far & snakey for me even though the fishing looks good. Good luck to you & any other members that go.
