Can anyone give me any information on this rod? Never heard of Master rod. Could not find any information online. Found 1 for sale.

I thought that too Raw Dawg but the guy I got this from had a Penn Peer 209 mounted on it and used it for years over on the coast to catch rays and sharks. And this guy is a pretty serious fisherman, he owns a walleye boat that he uses for bass fishing and fishes with Loomis rods. Can't believe he'd fish with junk. I don't see him much any more, but next time I do I'll ask.

Am I reading the decal right 6-15lb line rating? seems light for sharks.

The guy that owned it had a Penn 209 on it spooled with what I would guess is probably 20 or 30 pound test mono. The reel spooled with that could handle rays and sharks that live over at Moss Landing.
