That particular place is a mountain river and only has trout in it. But catfish can be had in a number of other places around here.

We all get skunked sometimes. I've been out on some mighty fine days & couldn't buy a fish & I've fished that lake over 30 years. It just happens. I'll fish someplace til I can no longer hold a pole.

When I go out I'm frequently out at least 8 hours, sometimes more if I'm by myself. I figger if I have gone to all the trouble to hook onto by boat launch it by myself and so on I might as well stay out there and fish. Or if I hike down into the canyon to the river, no sense hiking back out under the hot sun, might as well wait till the sun goes behind the mountain a little and is somewhat cooler.
