TWIN TROLLER

Good morning all. I just signed up for this forum and so far it has proven to be very informative. I have a 100 hp bass boat that I enjoy, but I am getting up in age and sometimes it becomes a bit 'unwieldly'. I am thinking of purchasing a twin troller, which is much smaller and from what I can tell, extremely safe as long as the water is not storm choppy. I fish fresh water only so I wouldn't be fishing very large bodies of water. Question....anybody have personal info on these boats? Would you buy one? Thanks in advance for taking time to read this post and to provide an answer.

Go to youtube and do a search and you will find some videos on this little boat. I’ve only seen the videos, not seen one in person.

Thanks Rutinbuck; like you, I've seen the youtube vids, but most seem to be floating advertisements for the manufacturer. I wanted to see if I could find a purely neutral responder. I think I'll take your advice; I'll go thru the majority of the online reviews and will try to use these as the basis of my decision. Thanks again.

Hey slab best thing to do is go to a vender and take a test run in one. Just like a car got to test drive it first.

Yep. Ron works at BP. I think I might have seen him a time or two when I've been there before.

I have one of those little boats. It will take you to places you have never been able to fish in before. It runs in as little as six or eight inches of water and will glide right over logs and trees just under the water. You can push down on the rear of the pedals and you have brakes! It turns like a 360 lawn mower. There is no boat comparable to it for ponds, lakes or hard to get to creeks. I have an 18 foot bass boat and have caught more from the little boat than from 18 foot bass boat. You owe it to yourself to try one.

Thanks to all! Appreciate the specs from Ron620DVS and the testimonial from Judge32. I am leaning towards buying the TT. The cost is a bit stiff, but if I don't get one, I'll regret it down the line. Thanks again for all the comments!
