Gabe should that say " a salt water lure "? If so I have been using the mirrolures because of the twitching action they provide.

I use a luckycraft 100 or 110 surf minnow if I'm throwing a lure. Why? Because it works. If it's out there and it eats other fish, it will hit a luckycraft. I'm on the west coast fishing for surf perch, stripers, halibut, corbina (croaker), ling cod, rock bass, kelp bass, sharks. They'll all hit it. The hooks it comes with are crap, replace em.

Love Lure was the best all round with lite pink curly tail jig tails with redish/white jig head tipped with tiny piece of shrimp! So many crank baits out there nowadays, jest make sure it kicks left and right not jest rock back and forth!

Personally haven't done a lot of saltwater fishing with lures. But have had pretty good success with 5" Yamamoto grubs on leadhead jigs fishing from rocks. Especially with the blue pearl color. And since fishing among the rocks costs a few lures, losing a few doesn't hurt the wallet too bad. Adding a bit of Pro-cure scent seems to help.

That's Nice of you but I think I like the Gulf Coast, (the waves aint as rough there) and I had a bad memory on the Carolina Coast.

I am just off the Pamlico river. Wave action depends on the winds. Today it was like a glass lake.

But that Gulf Coast is something else to take in. There are some folks on here from Destin Fla., now that's a nice place to get some salt fishing in.
