Howdy, just wondering if anyone ever fishes Lake of The Pines in east Texas. I had an uncle that lived at the lake and could walk out his door, across the road and wet his line. Never went there until he passed away. I then saw the lake for the first time and have wondered if it would be worth going back to.

YES ! Lake O' The Pines is a great lake to fish. It,s a great Bass lake here in Texas. They hold fishing tournaments here all the time.

I just watched a few Youtube videos of crappie fishing at Lake O' The Pines. They were filmed in the last several days. They were catching lots of huge crappie in the 1.5 to 2.0+ lbs. range.

About 40 years ago, my family camped out on Lake "o" pines for a week each year. Never lacked in having enough fish for lunch and supper. Beautiful place to fish.
