Caught these today but not sure what they are

The bottom is kinda a pretty little fish, the top one not so much.

Yeah I think the top one might be a whiting but don’t have a guess on the second one, yes they do have some pretty colours and I had a double on them, reminded me of Lake Erie perch fishing, always catch doubles when we went there..

The top fish is what we call a Sucker. He sucks up what he eats with ugly lips. The second fish is a small Bream.

He says he caught in fresh water. A poor unfed stunted growth Bream will look like the fish he caught. Big frame but no body.

That is a croaker on top and pinfish on the bottom, both are saltwater fish. Under his shoes, you will find a beach. Someone is trying to put the shi! on us but I don't want to mention names.

Croakers do not have lips like a sucker.
