Pink/Chartreuse PowerBait on a cotton ball and hooked on a “Gold Treble Hook.. Fish 6” off the bottom..

Actually, that power-bait-on-a-cotton-ball is a pretty good idea, especially on a shiny little treble hook. Dock and Bobber-fishing with a grandkid up here in WA, the cotton ball might just stay on long enough to let me get some corn or nightcrawler on my own line before the nibblers took it away. Gonna try that this spring/summer.

Don't know about where you are but here. A gold hammered crocodile with an orange Stripe 1/4 oz. Works good. My go to is. Thomas Cyclone spoon. Let em hit bottom and jig em down stream reel slow.

Two bladed Doc Shelton was my all time favorite spinner. Started using in late 40s with a worm on #6 hook about 4-6" back.
