Old Buck Loc: Arizona

Hello from Arizona! Just getting back to my trout-bum, life-style ways. No wife, no princess girlfriend, no kids at home, no more mainstream job. Looking for an Australian Cattle Dog to adopt.
Open to any fishing hole suggestions in the West. Making trout fishing contacts in MT as well as Argentina.

Hi, Buck ! Where in Arizona are you, and what species is/are
your preference ? Are you a
bassman, trouter, catfisher ?
I'm in Mesa, about 20 minutes east of downtown Phoenix;
while I haven't yet fished everywhere in the state, I have
hit quite a few locations ! Am
also an avid reader and am
very interested in trying many
new locations that I haven't
been to yet ! If you're new to
the state, or just to fishing
here, I would be more than
happy to point you in the right direction, whatever your quarry !
You can send me a 'private message' on this forum to start, then we can proceed from
there ! Not sure if you're aware of all the species available here, so I'll run up a list to give you an idea !
1/ Bass - Lm, Sm, and stripers
2/ Crappies, Perch, and Sunfish
(several caught over 5 lbs.)
3/Trout - Brookies, Browns,
'Bows', Tigers (hybrid), Apache
and Gila (last two have made major comeback from near extinction)
4/ Catfish - Flatheads, Channels, Blues (stocked in Community
lakes/ponds), Bullheads
5/Walleye
6/Northern Pike
Those are the major 'sport' fish; we also have others like carp,
suckers, chubs, tilapia, etc. !
Contact me at your earliest convenience if you need any
more info !
