Shallow or deep?

Soooooo, this expert is talking about fishing flooded water. The water is a flooded lake, obtw, the lake is Crystal clear. His question is whether to fish the original shoreline or fish the brush in the new level?
Then it becomes (cause it's clear) do you fish shallow or deep? Now, my question is what defines shallow or deep? Is there a number? Deep compared to the overall depth of the lake? Is deep anything over a certain amount? 1 foot, 3 feet, 6,8, 10? What's shallow, what's deep? That's the best part of listening to "experts". They're helpful but not specific. Kinda like listening to the weatherman, cya.

You want to fish the flooded brush at the new level. Fish will move in to the flooded area to feed on the new food that is the new area.

I figure shallow water to be not over my shoulders. After that your swimming and that's deep. As far as clear water. U need to be tying uni line to line. I fish pink floro. Look for where the fish can set and ambush. Behind a rock limb ect. Throw moving naturally along the edge of whatever structure or in my case sandbar or wall. I hope I can help ya.

I'm lucky I'm from Sandusky Bay. Fished Niagra river, and creeks in PA Lake Erie from Toledo to Erie PA.But do to disability I was able to move to Fort Pierce. I've fished here going on 11 years. I fish for reds when Snook are off season. Snook and Tarpon when it's the right time. We have Tarpon here year around but the mullet run. Was sent by God for fishermen. I fish live and cut bait. Every lure but love spoons. I had a Gheenoe but my wife got me a 16 Sea n Sport Dory. They where made in w FL. Old Johnson mold from 70 s I think with a E tec 25. I'm new I suppose but I love fishing. I grew up fishing vermilion river in Ohio. Catching crayfish and floating them in rapid pools. Long winded lol God Bless!

Fast you want to fish the flooded area unless they are pulling the water off of it. You will need to fish the shallow down to the old bank.

Hello Helen, I fished in spring off David Besse. Then we would move between Islands after that off Back of Kelley Island. Perch and Walleye.
