Should be a pretty good reel. I've got a bass pro mega cast and have no complaints whatever.

Not sure, Jimmy. It has a dial (1-10), spool tension, and drag.

Note: When I bought my first bait caster I could not get the hang of it. The reel would backlash and I would put it down and pick up my spinning gear. One morning I decided I would only take the new bait caster I could not cast. That very day I learned how to cast that new bait caster. While I do still backlash the heck out of it from time to time, I've now patience and experience enough to pick it out and get back to fishing.
