Books About Fishing?

Most of us probably watch plenty of videos about fishing and probably subscribe to one or more magazines. But some of us like to deep dive into the "why", "how come", and general science of fish and their habits. I've looked at several books that claim to be the "ultimate guide" but find them to be more about equipment and technique or just coffee table books than about the biology of fish and geographical fishing.

Some of the recommendations I've received are:
1. The Ultimate Book of Freshwater Fishing by Ken Schultz
2. Going Fishing: A beginner's guide to Freshwater Angling by Tony Johnson
3. Knowing Bass: The Scientific Approach to Catching More Fish by Keith A. Jones, PhD
4. What Fish Don't Want You to Know: An Insider's Guide to Freshwater Fishing by Frank P. Baron
5. The Complete Guide to Freshwater Fishing (The Freshwater Angler)
6. Basic Freshwater Fishing: Step-by-step Guide to Tackle and Know-how that Catch the Favorite Fish in Your Area by Cliff Hauptman

What are some recommendations for books that really dive into and the approach to fishing for various species?
