Has anyone had any luck with their fishing combos? Some of their lures are free, just pay shipping. I have ordered before and it seems a long time to wait for delivery. Since I'm a bargain hunter, thought I might try them again.

I used to buy items from them.
But the last time that I tried it they wanted a picture of the front and back of my drivers license and a copy of my bank statement.
No way.
Let us know how it works out for you, if they still want the information.

That’s just screaming scam, when there asking for that much information. I sold something on Craigslist what a mistake the scammers were all over it in less then 3 minutes

Finally sold the item but what a job to get past the scams

Never again 🤬🤬

Tips for Buying on Wish Safely??

So you want to take the plunge and order something from Wish? There are several things you should know before starting your Wish haul.

If you’re familiar with the risks of shopping with AliExpress, you won’t be surprised at the precautions you have to take when ordering from Wish. Take a look at these four tips to ensure you make a safe purchase.

Is AliExpress Legit and Safe to Buy From?

What is Aliexpress? Is it safe to shop on? Are there any security vulnerabilities? Our Aliexpress review finds out if it's legit.

1. Don’t Ignore Reviews:

Sometimes it’s okay to take reviews with a grain of salt. Buyers often nitpick an item if it doesn’t mean their specific expectations, so you ignore it.

However, you should not do this on Wish. Wish reviewers will let you know the ugly truth behind that $13 drone you want so bad.

If the reviews on the item you want are mostly negative, you might want to reconsider your plan to purchase it. On the other hand, some items are “Verified by Wish Shoppers.” This means that a product has received positive reviews from customers.

Wish Shopping Verified by Wish Shoppers:

2. Be Aware of Long Shipping Times

Used to two-day Amazon Prime shipping? Wish will be your wake-up call.

Wish ships from China. That means it could take a long time to get to your doorstep. Let’s just say that one week is a quick shipping time for Wish. Some users report that their item doesn’t arrive for months after their order.

It’s also possible that your item won’t come at all. According to several complaints, it’s not uncommon for a buyer’s item to never reach their home. Always keep track of your order.

3. Watch Out for Misleading Descriptions:

One of the biggest issues on Wish is incorrect product descriptions and images. Descriptions aren’t always accurate and images can make the product look better than it actually is.

In this case, it’s better to pay more attention to customer reviews than the product descriptions.

4. Choose the Right Size:

If you’re buying clothing on Wish, make sure to look at the size chart. The small, medium, or large in your country might not correspond with the clothing sizes from Wish.

Since most clothes from Wish come from China, the clothes are often in Asian sizes. Luckily, Wish shows a meter on clothing items that let you know whether it runs large or small.

Wish Shopping Sizes:

Be Careful What You Wish For:

Wish’s affordable prices make it tempting to go on an all-out shopping spree. While you might want to fill your cart with cheap electronics and jewelry that would typically cost hundreds of dollars, you should second-guess yourself every now and then.

Just like Wish, other online retailers come with a host of possible scams as well. Shop smarter by heeding these tips for avoiding common eBay scams, which can be applied to Wish as well.

I won't use them anymore. I used to buy from them with no problems. I ordered lens filters one time and never received them. I texted them about it and they said that US Customs have been confiscating the lenses for some reason. They refunded my money.
Last time I texted them a couple of times I didn't get a response. They have an office here in the USA, I texted and wrote to them with no response.
With the fiasco that I had with my last transaction about the license I called the credit card company and canceled the card that I used and got a new one.
It's a shame because I liked buying from them.
Oh well, nothing last forever.

I use wish.com. Now having said that, I have bought only items I use for fishing. I use only my computer and PayPal for internet buys. Longest I have had it take was 3 weeks. I limit what I buy to the items that I need at the time. I was "window shopping" looking at Bait Runner reels, when the wife asked me what I was doing. I told her looking at reels for the best price including shipping. Best also being max Reel Drag, as that is a deal breaker in Salt Water Surf/Shore fishing to me. I said "this one looks good, but I'll wait on it".
She said, "Your Birthday is coming up, I'll buy it". So I bought it on her card with PayPal.
The reel comes in and I try it out fishing. As I'm reeling in the fish and sinker, I keep hearing a "Clunk, clunk". I contact Wish support and state my concerns about the reel. I didn't want ot work on the reel as that might kill any, if there was any, warranty. They refunded the money back to my wife's credit card.
That was for $38, so I got a reel that goes clunk for free. I took the spool off and removed the locking screw and tightened the main nut and put the locking screw back. No more noise when bringing in 14 LB fish on it later.
So can you trust them to do a refund? Yes!
Can you expect it to be as good as a High Dollar item, most likely, not.
Is the 2-3 week wait worth it?
It is during the winter when you can't go fishing anyway. LOL
Now the rest of my disclaimer.
I have bought "Strike Alerts", the lights for the top of the pole that flash when the fish hits.
The "Noise makers" for when the fish bites, but not the Bells, I am High Freq Deaf and can't hear those.
I bought a couple reels to try, and the Bait Runner was the only one so far with a problem, and they refunded that one quickly.
I have bought 4 strand Braid from them and so far that has not had problems. Actually less than I had with Spider Wire in Salt Water from the coating dissolving, Power Pro didn't seem to have that problem so much. As the coating dissolves the line doesn't cast as far as when new. So far the braid I have bought from Wish.com has not had that problem.
I have NOT bought Hooks, sinkers, swivels, or other basic fishing supplies from them.
I did buy a recharging Head light from them. Cheaper with shipping than the Ever-Ready, 300 Lumens, one I bought at Lowes fpr $19.00. I think it was like $18 counting shipping, and you always have to count the shipping before you buy from them.
It is still working and a "LOT" brighter than the Ever-Ready one.
There is a "LOT of Bait the Buyer" on Wish.
You get ready to buy the item look first at shipping then selecting the color, size, ect and suddenly some of them have large price increases!
I back out of that one and keep looking for the one that I want at the price that seems right total cost.
And I always use PayPal for buying, for one, safety of my card usage, two for help if needed for refunds.
My advise, "Always use caution when buying anything you can't touch first or others that have done so in front of you".

You didn't have them ask for your drivers license?
I've been buying from them before then this happens.
Like you said I never had a problem before when ordering.

No, they have never asked me for any info other than my EMail Address and where to ship to.
Like I said I use PayPal for a buffer for internet buying. And I have not given any other personal info to PayPal or used my Bank info to PayPal as I have not sold stuff on the internet. Yes, PayPal has asked for more info and no I have not given it to them. I also don't use phone Apps either. I am not trusting that much.

I have had quite a bit of experience in purchasing from Wish.com in the past 12-18 months, at least 25 times ordered and received. Long wait, sure. Have bought about 2/3 of my stuff out of the "fishing tackle" category. Every single item has arrived in good condition and packaged well. Some of the best buys have been like the two rod racks, just like the ones that keep popping up on the bottom of the screen on here ($39.99...plus shipping... I have checked), ....got TWO for $44 delivered. A 3wt fly reel, in a gorgeous rainbow trout finish ! , came complete with: backing, 3wt line(certainly mediocre, at best), 2 Chinese finger-puzzle type end loops, 2 leaders (different weights !) all for the delivered price of.....$28 !!! The drag is excellent, it came "left-handed"...no sweat switching... more than pleased...proud.
But, folks...stand by !....I actually put in an order for one of the "Limited Deal" offers (50 cents for the product, 25 cents for shipping, ... "We'll let you know if you are "the one" who got the deal that day, by email"...). Well to be truthful, I did it several times and "risked" $0.75. 3 days ago, I received my order.. one of the "Lixada" fishing combos in the rectangular black case. Telescopic rod, size 3000 8bb spinning reel w/ a unique folding handle, 10lb line, a cute little box with terminal tackle, some jig heads and grubs, 2 lipped crankbaits... sure they sell it outright for $25-$35+ shipping and claim it's worth $299 or something ridiculous, but hey, I'll risk 75 cents a few times for that. And here's the kicker, not once have they failed to refund my 75 cents, when I don't "win".
I recently saw a thread on here that discussed gloves... I have lightweight neoprene ones with light "gripper" palms , wear patches on two fingers and thumb, large-toothed zipper back, great fit...$3 delivered ! Last year and this, I have bought those overtly "manly parts" novelty lures as basically gag gifts and who knew ? I have heard back from the recipients that actually fished them, that they catch fish ! And those were all (hate to admit it, but I bought pretty much all the various options...there are many....scary, huh ?)only about $1 apiece. I have also bought non-fishing items like a waterproof Bluetooth speaker for the boat....$8+$4 shipping, a watch..free, $3 shipping, some great #2 Phillips power screwdriver bits, 10 for $2+$2 shipping. I could go on but you get the idea. Just be OBSERVANT AS ALL GET OUT, BEFORE YOU PUNCH THE BUY BUTTON !!!!!!!! As mentioned above, use PayPal only !!, PAY ATTENTION to the pricing if you have to make ANY size or color or package size CHOICES... those checkout totals can jump radically...and not necessarily logically ! Just read CAREFULLY and be patient for the delivery.... the savings and products are worth it, IMHO.

PS-- while I personally am not a bass guy at all, you folks who are should grab some of your favorite colors of "Whopper ploppers".... last I paid attention, they were like $1.97 or less each ! I bought lipped crankbaits in various configurations, sizes and colors with rattle inside, & good hooks, last year.....30 lures, packaged as if for retail on a large display cardboard for $16.97+ $6 shipping, roostertail-type spinners, basically the same deal..... just sayin'..........let that gambler in you out ! LOL !
Good Luck, hope this helps some of you make up your mind !!!

I also have received a lot items from Wish.com. I don't have pal pal so I'll look into it.
Everything was fine until one day when I ordered something they wanted all of that other information.

May order some whopper ploppers if they are that cheap. I use paypal. They have never asked me for any personal information yet. I will be very careful. Of course I have been scammed with things I ordered from amazon, ebay and walmart. Always check your bank statement very carefully every month. On ebay I always shop for US products.

just recently, I noticed that one could save considerable shipping charges on wish when buying certain items when you ship to one of their sites (ex. might be Tan your Moon) with maybe a day two sooner delivery. I have bought a little from them, fishing and cheap watch. Neither did I need quick shipping and had to go back going back and remind myself that I ordered it. I have been burned off Facebook worse.
