Great idea! Better than hanging them on a tree limb 5 feet in front of you for the picture, like I did with my 8-lb bluegill! Love your sense of creative humor!

I almost caught a really big fish one day when I was fishing below an old grist mill dam. I got it almost to the top of a 10 foot bank before the line snapped. It was so big that the splish caused a backwash wave that turned the water wheel backwards and ungrounded a bushel of corn.

While I have never shined.... as far as you know... It has been In my blood for generations. I remember when I was about nine, They busted the guy who was running my grandad's still and it took them three flat bed trucks to take it out.
