I will advise anyone to pay attention to where you are going in the dark. I can pretty much get around without too much trouble but Friday night I went out to my shop to get something I was working on. I went out the back door and took a whiz in the dark then turned around, took a step and got my right foot hung under the brace that holds my scaffold against the wall. Fell forward then side ways on my back. My lower leg, ankle and foot are swollen up real big. Cannot walk now. I was lucky that I had my cell phone to call my wife. She did not know I was outside behind the shop, and has been cold and rainy here. Going to get it xrayed Monday to see if anything is broken. So, my fishing time will be off for a while. It don’t matter how young you are it still can happen. I will be 77 this next February.

Hope it is just a sprain and nothing broken. Heck of a Christmas Present. I'd rather had the lump of Coal. Seriously I hope it is not bad, and may you have a Merry Christmas with good news.

I guess you are lucky that everything didn't fall down on you. But damn that had to hurt. There is an old home remedy you could try: more gin.

I went down in the Lowe's parking lot this past fall and broke my leg. All healed up now, but pretty sore and lame for a month or so. Let's hope you didn't break anything. Bruises and scrapes bad enough.

Lot of crap hitting the fans. I blacked out Saturday. Emergency room doc says it's influenzia type a. Due to my heart and lung problems it has hit me much harder than it Should have. Blood pressure bottomed out. Been sick five days. Sat was the worse. I can eat a little now but still sound like a steam engine when I breath. Folks if you have Not gotten a flu a nd pneumonia jab I recommend you do. This is awful. If I make to next flu season I'm getting the jabs

Thanks for all of you guys letting me know you care. Last year when I had lung surgery, I never hurt so much. Don’t know what to compare it with, but it was worst than this. MadMac, you get better also. Don’t need any of us ducking out just yet.

Get well! Don't want to loose any one on here. I had both shots already. Over 70 they give you the booster shot fo the Flu.
