Anyone remember these! Caught many a trout, bass, catfish etc. with these as a kid!
I see them them now for sale on eBay for $100 and up to $150! Still have one in my collection.
Provides a lot of great memories!

I think so. Some parts available on line.
Becoming harder and harder to find.

The first reel I ever bought back in 1964 for a trip to the Minnesota Boundary Waters. Served me well.

To this day one of the reels I frequent is a Mitchell 300. I obtained it new 5 years back brand new with the spare spool in it's original plastic box. I've moved four times and the box and spool are forever gone, but I still use that old reel. This reel has caught many trout in Washington and Idaho Waters.

I still use a 406 I bought new, 1972(?). Put the heavy duty palm handle, high speed on it. Has brought in a lot of fish. Have a couple 300 series.

When I broke up with boyfriend around 1959, thats when I started fishing. Went to Sears and bought the first rod & reel baitcaster & a big heavy tacklebox. Started going to pay lakes. I think I still have that outfit. Probably needs alot of work done on it. That's how my fishing habit started.
