I've been waiting to "pull the trigger" on writing this post.. I wanted to make sure.
My mother was in the hospital last month, a few times actually. I'm not going to get real deep into it, just share a couple facts and show the goodness of God. I love it when I can do this!! #AnsweredPrayers.
She was falling, ALOT, and was banged up pretty good. While in the hospital, the doctors did a MRI on her whole body. There were lesions found on her pelvic bone. That's scary. Then, an Oncologist payed a visit to her, telling her they believe the lesions to be more serious in nature.. but if it is what he believed it was, then it's highly treatable and and and.. that was very scary. The oncologist wanted a bone marrow biopsy and did it the next day, which confirmed the diagnosis, and scheduled a follow up appointment with the oncology department to discuss treatment options. All terrifying news. At least for me it was, so I KNOW my mom was scared out if her mind.
Well, we went to everyone we know and asked for prayer for her. Trish had her covered on her end with her church and people... I had her covered on my end with my churches and people. Those people had their people involved... So on and so fourth.. Prayers coming from all over the U.S. actually, between fb and this forum.. Her appt was on the 18th.
Well, I'm so happy to report with a glad heart... Prayers were answered!! Thank you guys for praying!! I won't call you out by name, but I know several of you who were actively praying daily for my mom. This is so cool when I can actually prove prayer.. the doctors went from talking about treatments and using words like "staging" and "biopsy" and Oncology", words they DO NOT use lightly unless they are pretty dang sure about themselves... to "it's not cancer, we were wrong.."!!! The lesions are nothing to worry about. This is so amazing, God is so GOOD, Amen?
This was a very worrisome situation too, because cancer runs HEAVY in my family. My Grandmother, my moms mother, died of the same, bone cancer, a long while back, in the mid 2000's. So naturally, my mom immediately thought of her... and got very scared. We have been praying so heavily about this. God is great!! So awesome..
Do not cease in prayer, for He IS listening.. and He is working things out right now as we read and type, for your good-sake. He loves us and cares for us.. Big Poppa LOVES to show His Strength and I NEVER grow tired of showing Him off.
Jesus, thank You for healing my mother. Thank You for confirming Your answers so loudly. Father, I humbly bow my head in awe of Your Works and Your true Divine Nature. I love You Father, and praise You, and I am so so thankful You put Your Mighty Hand on my mother. Please be with my family and all the men and women I call friend on this forum. Bless them Father, for their prayers are the prayers You answered... show them favor and bless them for their faithfulness on our behalf. I pray all of these things in Your Son's Precious Name, Amen.
