I think they are buzzards looking for a meal. Think I will stay in today. Resting for road rage potential this coming week.

Did you ever see the black light poster with two buzzards on a dead tree over the desert with the caption, "Patience my a** I'm gonna kill something" ? Loved it.

I thought buzzards were a western phenomenon. Guess you have em back east? With AND without wings.

The without wing buzzards awaken me this morning. They all jumped into the 1 jon boat and christen duck season opening this morning. Either there are a lot of dead ducks out there or Elmer can't shoot very well.

As for the winged version I stand ready with my double barrel when letting the dog out.

Would you believe I quit cub scouts twice. Wanted more then a blue ugly cap the first time. Second time a den mother. I joined to get away from mothers telling me what to do.

Mothers only quit once.

But their advice and memories live on.

I quit them both Cubs and boys. Never had the ambition to do the stuff they wanted me to do. I went fishing instead.

Isn't it too bad some of us learn that later instead of sooner?

I had that poster in my room. That was 50 years ago. Talk about bringing back some memories. Thanks 😊

At least we continue to learn, remembering what we learned is the hard part.

Of course that crack on the back of the head from the nuns made learning even more challenging.
