Can anyone recommend a good real repair technician? Have a newer Daiwa casting reel with digital readout. Dang near had to dissemble to replace the battery. Sssshhhhss. Now doesn't work the same. Not sure I am the person to continue messing with tiny screws. Thanks for any suggestions. Sincerely, Greg

Hey Greg, you need to update your profile, don't know where you're located.
https://stores.tunasreeltroubles.comThese guys have helped me out in the past, you can call them see if they'll give you some advice. Also I know that Cabela's uses a service in Iowa for repairs on their reels, but I can't find there phone number or address right now, but they were helpful to me. Call Cabela's customer service and they should have it.
WHICH NUMBER SHOULD I CALL FOR SERVICE IN NORTH AMERICA?
You may call (562) 375-6800 for service. Customer Service is available 7AM to 4PM Pacific Time. Please also visit our Service tab on our website for a Daiwa Warranty or Service Center nearest you. I believe that they may be able to direct and help you..

I have a Langley Rod & Reel my mother bought me. Just wondered where it could be worked on. She bought it in the late 50s or early 60s.
I would call those folds in Iowa glennsreel.com. When I spoke with one of their repair guy a while back he seemed to be very knowledgable.
North Central Washington; Quincy, to be exact. Thanks for asking. Greg
