I use crank baits . retrieved at different speeds. They seem to work best for me.

ditto garry w/ the (very)slowly fished dark soft plastics. i would definitely add a lot of scent and of course let it sit for prolonged pauses along the edges of downed trees and docks.

In my bass ponds. I use my ultralight and a bright and black quarter ounce jig head with a chartreuse curly tail with a black body rubber. I have been fishing it with a medium speed this year and it seems to be working for me. I catch them.
