I’m needing to get me new boots for ice fishing. Was curious as to what others use. Not wanting to break the bank but still want a decent boot that will keep my feet warm.

A pair of wool socks and these will keep your feet toasty warm. Wore these in Alaska in January on cold weather ops with SEALs back in the 80's. Ours were white. And they call them Mickey Mouse boots because your feet look like Mickey's in them. Who cares, they're warm.

Men’s Tsumoru Boots are what I personally use... I have had mine for five years and they have served me well... They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for.. I also use a very good quality sock and my feet never get cold...

Lightweight EVA shell protection and simple, clean styling come together in an insulated and waterproof package that easily fends off winter's worst.

I wear my 14" high hunting boots with alpaca socks. Alpaca wool is hollow and insulates much better than regular wool socks. When it is above zero my feet are toasty warm. When it is colder than that, I use toe warmers along with alpaca socks.

I second the Mickey Mouse boots. Should/might be able to get a pair at army/navy surplus stores/web sites.
Good to approx -50 F.

I've got a pair of Rockies with 1000 grams of Thinsulate. DON'T buy them. Just a word of warning.

-20 and my feet were sweating inside these. I could not believe how warm they were. If folks aren't familiar with them they are vapor barrier boots - they're inflatable, and there's a layer of air between the outer shell and the boot itself that acts as a very effective layer of insulation. Incredibly effective.

We wear these, we called them Bunny Boots, on the North Slope in the oilfield. Those and two pair of sock, one of which would be wool (outer) and the other moisture wicking and we were good to go.
