I know some folks make their own lures and was wondering if they make them from laminating different colors together. I make some wood stuff and had the idea of trying that. I have seen books on making lures but never bought one.
There have been several on the fourm that make there baits and they really did a good job on them they looked great.

Google it, sitn, see what you can find out.
Maybe you could laminate in a photo of a bait fish.
I am buying meself, oops Santa is bring me a scroll saw that I have always wanted, just wasn't very high on the list. They are on sale at Harbor Freight plus and additional 25% on top of the sale. I plan on playing around trying to make a few bass lures. It's getting cold and wet here so it is going to give me some indoor projects when I am not baby sitting my grandson Isacc which is 7 wks old. Trying to make him some fishing toys.
Find a fence contractor. Scrap cedar fencing makes excellent bass plugs

Check out Marling baits on YouTube. I’ve watched a couple of his videos. He’s pretty entertaining as well. Saw one video where he just put hooks on a block of wood and went out and caught some bass with it.
