Just unsubscribe. All they send is stuff that didn’t sell. Any doofus can go out and buy a spinner bait, a crank, a jig, and some kind of soft plastic.

I got rid of mine after 3 months. Back then it was like 1 brand name and rest off name junk. At least now they fill with alot of their catch Co stuff but ill just take that money and pick out my baits. Great idea for younger people getting into sport or kids with no real income besides allowance.

I canceled mine for the year but I did enjoy the subscription. Got a bunch of stuff I never would’ve used but they did me catch some fish. I’m going with 6th sense if I start another one, they’ve got great quality lures with awesome colors. Have to say it’s probably my favorite brand right now.

Enjoyed trying the different boxes for sure. Like others said I got to try things that I wouldn’t typically spend money on and it’s nice to explore different stuff.

That said, I still feel like it’s a good bang for your buck situation. Usually can get a pretty good haul for just the basic box and you end up paying less than you would in the store. I also cancelled mine after 5 months as it started to get a little repetitive.

Mtb was great when I first got into fishing because it introduced me to a lot of different lures I might not have tried otherwise but yeah at some point you find what works for you and you just buy that instead. If you just buy the lures you WANT to use then you’re prob saving money long term because you won’t use half the stuff coming in the mystery box each month but you are most definitely still paying for it

I think I am going to cancel it. I may try monster bass or some other subscription if I find one I like. I am going to write a nasty but professional email though. I actually responded to one of their email surveys with please dont send me any more square bill after the third one I received and they gave me 10 dollars off on the website.

Lucky Tackle Box sent me things I have never seen in stores before. Probably not name brand. I don't know if that's good or not. I haven't had a chance to use them yet.

These fishing box subscriptions, in my opinion, are a great idea for new anglers. I started bass fishing 4 years ago and these services not only exposed me to the array of tackle available, but also provided videos on how to fish them.
I did end up cancelling, way too much stuff building up in the garage but, it was fun looking forward to the box each month and I did learn a lot.
