Im am a catfish fisherman but since the beginning of the summer(2019)I’ve really wanted to get into bass fishing i even went out and bought a cheap casting combo so my goal is to try to catch my first bass during the spawn and I’m pretty sure you guys will be able to help me.what line ,lures and rigs should I use(also for after the spawn because I know that most bass will hit any lure that’s on its bed during spawn)

I've had great luck with a 4 inch yum worm on an offset 3/0 hook rigged texas style. Just bounce it around the bottom where you think fish may be in some structure. Tons of other ways to catch them. Live minnows has always been o favorite of my grandpa's and has served me well over the years

Minnows and crawfish are natural food sources in my area, as well as grasshoppers. They all work pretty well. As far as plastic worms, green pumpkin colors work good in my area of the ozarks.

I like to go early morning till about 10 and late evening. I've had success at all times of day though. Where do you plan on fishing? In my area I fish for smallmouth more than largies in small creeks and rivers.

Senko, texas rigged or wacky, texas rigged crawfish imitation, If you aren't sure of how, check out YouTube videos. Also don't get discouraged if you don't catch every bass that's on a bed, sometimes they are very temperamental and not as easy to catch as you've heard. Really depends on what stage they're in and mood, you sometimes have to aggravate them into biting, sometimes they won't touch your lure, sometimes they just blow your lure out of their bed, but sometimes they jump right on your bait and then you're happy!! Tight lines!
Go to Bass Resource and Tactical Bassin and you will find more than you want to know.
Oakra i've had good luck with the same rig that you use it works .
